Door Entry Systems
Door entry systems operate as either audio or video systems. An audio door entry system allows you to speak to the caller before allowing them into the building via a remote release mechanism. A video door entry system operates in the same way but has the added security feature of being able to see an image of the caller before allowing them access.
Access Control
Access control systems can be used on doors, gates, barriers, fences, turn stiles and elevators. This is done by using a number of different methods, from a basic keypad; where a PIN is entered to allow people access, to a biometric system allowing access via fingerprint or eye scanner. The most commonly used system is the proximity reader, which allows access by using a card or tag.
